Mount Robson

At 3,954 metres, Mount Robson, the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies, towers over the lesser surrounding peaks; winter or summer, this is one of the finest views in the Rocky Mountains.

A Parking Lot at the Columbia Icefields

Columbia Ice Fields

The Columbia Icefield is a surviving remnant of the thick ice mass that once mantled most of Western Canada's mountains. Lying on a wide, elevated plateau, it is the largest icefield in the Canadian Rockies. This will be one of the most breathtaking sights on your tour.

Athabasca Falls

The 23-metre Athabasca Falls is not very high by Canadian Rockies standards, but the size of the river makes it one of the most powerful falls to be found in the national park. Pouring over a layer of hard quartzite, the falls have cut into the softer limestone beneath, carving intricate features, including potholes and a short canyon.

New Denver to Kaslo

Quite possible the best road in BC. This is a 50 km stretch of back to back, perfectly cambered corners that travels through stunning mountain landscapes high in the Kootenays.

“The tour was great. I'm glad I took the V-Strom. Really comfy ride. Wasn't prepared for how hot the weather got once I reached Banff. Was like riding into a hair dryer, and I was setting off early each day to get some riding in before it got too warm. Having said that, all I wanted to do on the last day was to ride straight past the depot and do the whole thing again.”
