Kid’s bikes

Fear not little ones; we have bicycles for you too. Cycle BC has a variety of high-quality kid’s bikes to choose from… and of course, kid’s helmets.

We carry a variety of 20″/ 24″ wheeled bicycles

Bicycle Trailers

We have tow behind bicycle trailers that can be pulled by either a city bike or an electric bicycle.

Trail-a-bike

Attached to a standard city bike, adds a third wheel to the bike and a child can sit, pedal and feel safe riding with a parent.

Rear Rack Carrier

Great for children under 2 years of age. Attaches to the rear rack of a bicycle and allows the parent to keep their little one close and secure with a 5-point harness.

Details

  • Minimum one hour
  • Additional hours prorated every 15min until the daily maximum is reached

  • Maximum rate paid for same date rental
  • Pick up at opening, return 30 min prior to closing

  • 24hr rental periods starting from the time you pick up
  • $20 per additional day

  • U-locks are provided with each rental free of charge.
  • In the event of theft the renter is responsible for the full replacement value of the bike.

What's Included

  • Helmet

    Helmets are the law in the BC. Cleaned after every rental, funk free!

  • Bicycle Lock

    We provide a sturdy U-lock to protect your steed while you are on a two footed adventure.

  • Rear Rack

    All of our bikes come with a rear rack well suited to carry panniers or anything you might find on your adventure.

  • Storage Pouch

    Attached to the rear rack, it’s a great place to store any of that extra stuff from your pockets

  • Maps & Route Suggestions

    A handy fold up map showcasing all of the cycling streets and pathways Vancouver has to offer.

FAQs

  • Can I make a reservation for a bicycle rental?

    Yes, you can book a day reservation for a bicycle through our reservation system. If you are planning on riding for less than 3 hours, our bicycles are first come, first serve. We have over 60 bicycles in our shop and there is a very good chance you can just drop in and pick one up.

  • Are helmets and locks included?

    Yes, we offer helmets and locks for no extra cost. We have a wide variety of sizes, big or small we should have something that fits.

  • How old do I need to be to rent?

    In order to rent you need to be at least 19 years of age. If you are under 19, your legal guardian must be present to sign the waiver form.

Rental Policies

  • 19 Years or Older

    Renters under the age of 19 must have a photo ID and a legal parent or guardian present at the time of rental to sign a witnessed liability release.

  • Photo ID

    A piece of government issued photo identification.

  • Credit Card

    Any valid major credit card, in your name, with the value of the security deposit per bike available.
