FAQs
  • Do I need to make a reservation for the scooter rental?

Yes, you can make a reservation by visiting our reservations page. Pick up is before 11am, with a minimum half or full day rental.

Please note, we do have almost 40 scooters available to rent. On weekdays we will most likely have a scooter available for a drop-in hourly rental. On weekends we tend to be busy and recommend reservations.

  • I have never ridden a scooter before, can I still rent?

Of course! The helpful and professional staff at Cycle BC Rentals are happy to show you how. From controls to driving we make sure you're comfortable with the scooter before we get you on the road! However, if you are not a confident bicycle rider, you cannot rent a scooter. We have two seater options and you can ride as a passenger.

  • Can I rent with a out of province or international driver's license?

Yes, if you are from BC we require that you have at least a class 7 (N) or class 5 driver's license to rent. If you are from outside of BC we require that you carry a valid license from your country of origin that allows you to drive a vehicle without supervision. For more information on licensing please go to ICBC

“Great experience! So much fun! Very friendly, helpful staff. It was our first time riding scooters, so we were a bit nervous, but we got good instruction before we left.”
