Mount Douglas (PKOLS) Scooter Loop (Beginner)

Begin your scooter adventure at the picturesque Fisherman’s Wharf. This lively harbor area is home to several shops, restaurants, and float homes, making it a popular spot for tourists and locals alike. Head towards Dallas Road which is a scenic waterfront road that winds along the coastline, offers stunning views of the ocean and the Olympic Mountains in the distance. Explore the quaint village of Oak Bay, discover the shops dotted along the avenue. Follow the coastline to famous Cadboro Bay beach and say hi the the local sea monster the “Cadborosauras”. Work your way towards Mount Douglas (PKOLS), you have to wait until the end of the ride for the real highlight, climb the road to the top of the mountain and you are a short 5-minute walk to the summit. A short 25 minute scooter ride will take you back into town.
